USA F3C World Championship Team 2007
Wloclawek, Poland
July 27 - August 5, 2007
Hello everyone,
Since 1985, the Radio Control Helicopter World Championship competition has been held every other year. This event is the Olympic equivalent for Radio Control Helicopter competition. Teams travel from all over the world to represent their countries. This year, the U.S. F3C Helicopter Team is traveling to Poland for the 2007 competition.
The pilots will fly in accordance with FAI (Federation Aeronautic International) competition rules. All of the maneuvers require very high skill, endless practice and dedication. It’s very similar to figure skating and judges will be looking for precision, accuracy and elegance of maneuvers. Each county is allowed to send their best three pilots who compete for best of the best (view the U.S. Team here).
For a preview of the maneuvers and a list of the guidelines for each competitor, view the RC Helicopter Competition Sporting Code at www.fai.org/aeromodelling/documents/sc4 or www.fai.org/aeromodelling/f3c/synopsis.
